You may remember what we are all about…doing business with one an other and referring the hundreds of people we all know to a Progress Club Member first.

What we are not
Not a social club…Not a service organization…Not a place for JOINERS…

What we are
An organization devoted to giving and getting business by using our wealth of contacts and referral sources. We are business owners and managers which differentiates us from many other organizations.

We expect to showcase ourselves at trade talks and open houses, but with a twist of virtual attendance through the Clubs own conference center. If you have trouble attending a morning meeting simply call the conference center and you’re there. More to follow.

At this month's business meeting we will discuss developing your "elevator speech" (a 30 second commercial). We will also determine how best to exchange qualified leads.

On March 20, 1986, Steven Dohan left his position as Administrative Partner at one of the largest CPA firms in the State of Florida. With two senior accountants and a secretary, he rented a small office in the Greenery office building and hung out the Dohan and Company sign.

The early days were a family affair. Steve's wife Hollie and daughter Cindi handled clerical duties. His son Russell worked as an expediter. Even the family dogs showed up from time to time.

Over the years the firm merged with other entities and added partners, undergoing several changes in name. But two things have always remained constant: Steve's guiding hand as Managing Director, and a client roster that enjoyed a level of personal service and attention to detail they had not been able to find with other South Florida CPA firms.

Irene Salum joined the firm in 1994, bringing her own areas of expertise with a Masters degree in taxation and was appointed as managing director in 2011.

Today Dohan Salum + Company CPA's are still in the Greenery building, with roots deeply embedded in South Florida's limestone bedrock. While their office space has expanded (and contracted with the South Florida economy) and they continue to add the most qualified, competent staff members available. But they've never lost touch with their clients' need to be understood and attended to. And no matter how big they ever become, they're proud to say they'll always want to be thought of as small enough to care.

VENUE
For the next two months, we will hold our meetings at Steve and Adam's offices to conserve cash and build a fund with which to operate. Beginning in July, we will meet at the Elk's Club in South Miami, just off S. Dixie Hwy.
